Crochet as a tool for mental wellbeing and income generation.

Crochet is known to be a grandma hobby but to us its more than that. we use this tool to alleviate the symptoms of anxiety and depression as well as generate an income in our refugee community helping and empowering refugee women to improve their daily life.

in our community, after fleeing our countries due to political instabilities, we face many challenges like poverty, health challenges, education and unemployment. as women we came together to use this wonderful tool to help us get away from the shadows of the bad experiences face while fleeing from our country as well as fight all the consequences brought by poverty after we reach in the host country by selling our crochet products. Woswift is not only an organization but also a home where we are able to learn, grow, share and support each other using the art of crochet.
